Gulf Crude Exports Recovered to Pre-War Level in September
Gulf crude exports hit at least 16.5 million barrels a day in September, matching the pre-war average without Iran, data firm Kpler reports. The recovery from March — when flows fell 10.5 million lower after U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran — depended on Saudi and Emirati pipelines and ship-to-ship transfers, moving oil between tankers, under U.S. military escort.
