Opportunity Party proposes $600m tax credit for business AI use

Opportunity Party leader Qiulae Wong has proposed a $600m tax credit — a discount on tax — to help businesses take up AI and other technology. She set out the plan on RNZ's Midday Report on 1 October, ahead of November's election. She said AI could lift productivity, or output per worker, if well regulated.
