Labour pledges ban on hidden fees

Labour would introduce a 'fair go law' if it wins the 2026 election, leader Chris Hipkins says. The advertised price would be the final price, with hidden fees banned. Hipkins said the fees burden families facing high living costs. The law would cover cars, electronics, phones, subscriptions, ticket sales and gyms.
