Telegraph reports Venter resigned as Saracens director of rugby for wine role

The Daily Telegraph reported Brendan Venter has resigned as Saracens director of rugby to become head of rugby culture and wine consultant. Neither Saracens nor Prem Rugby has confirmed the change, the BBC reported on 30 September. Venter missed the pre-Sale press conference after earlier media absences that drew a £5,000 fine.
