Combined Paramount-Warner Bros. Discovery company to be named Skydance

David Ellison said the combined Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery company will be called Skydance. Variety reported he announced the name on Oct. 2 in a post on X, taking it from his original Skydance Media production company. Variety reported the $111 billion deal is set to close on Oct. 6.
