Staten Island's 1670 Britton Cottage to reopen after US$2.1m funding

The Art Newspaper reported Britton Cottage on Staten Island in New York will open to the public for the first time since 1967. Restoration at Historic Richmond Town on Staten Island is supported by more than US$2.1 million announced in September 2025 through the New York City Council. Its fieldstone core dates to 1670.
