Sony Japan to Require 60 Hours of Playtime for PS5 Pro Buyers

Sony Japan will limit PS5 Pro purchases to buyers using a Japan-registered Sony account with at least 60 hours of PS4 or PS5 playtime logged between September 27, 2024 and September 27, 2026. The same account must be used to purchase the console, tying hardware eligibility to verified account region and usage history.
