LNG Canada approves $30-billion Phase 2 expansion at Kitimat

LNG Canada will add two processing units, known as trains, at its Kitimat, B.C. export terminal after reaching a Phase 2 Final Investment Decision on Sept. 28. Prime Minister Mark Carney confirmed the $30-billion project in Vancouver on Sept. 29, saying: "The speed of this project shows that now when Canadians want something built, we get it built."
