Florida Executes 77-Year-Old Curtis Beasley for 1995 Murder

Florida executed Curtis Wilkie Beasley, 77, by lethal injection on September 29, 2026. He was pronounced dead at 6:12pm at Florida State Prison near Starke. Beasley was convicted of first-degree murder in the August 1995 hammer killing of Carolyn Monfort at her Dundee home south of Orlando.
