Mexican lawmakers propose right to keep playing games after servers close

Luis Donaldo Colosio Riojas and Iraís Reyes have proposed changes to Mexican consumer law that would let buyers keep playing some form of a digital game after servers close or support ends. Colosio Riojas, president of the Senate's Digital Rights Commission, revealed the initiative on Instagram, Eurogamer reported 29 September 2026.
