Nottinghamshire sign 38-year-old Simpson on two-year deal

Nottinghamshire have signed wicketkeeper John Simpson from Sussex on a two-year deal covering County Championship and One-Day Cup cricket. The 38-year-old will stay at Trent Bridge past his 40th birthday. Simpson brings a 17-year career with more than 14,000 runs and three England ODI caps in 2021.
