Sámi network Dáiddadállu wins Munch Award for artistic freedom

Sámi artists' network Dáiddadállu has won MUNCH in Oslo's Munch Award for artistic freedom of expression, The Art Newspaper reported 29 September 2026. The report says the prize carries NOK 300,000 (around £24,000). Judges acknowledged the network, founded in 2014, for inserting Indigenous knowledge and perspectives into established art worlds.
