Wiley asks Trump to repurchase Santo Domingo embassy painting

Kehinde Wiley has asked US President Donald Trump to repurchase his painting, ARTnews reported. The work was commissioned, ordered for the site, for the US Embassy in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, The Art Newspaper reported. The US State Department in Washington removed the painting depicting Dominicans, the New York Times reported.
