Home Team sue Jermaine Dupri and Jacquees over 'Pick It Up'

Van J. Watler and Patrick Watler, who recorded as 1990s duo Home Team, have sued Jermaine Dupri and Jacquees for copyright infringement. The complaint alleges Dupri's 2023 single 'Pick It Up' copies lyrics and melody from Home Team's 1992 song of the same name. The allegation remains unproven; no court finding has been made.
