Man City face months-long wait for punishment after guilty verdict

Manchester City were found guilty of the majority of 115 financial charges, the BBC reported. A separate sanction hearing, to decide punishment, is required because the charges were denied. It could be months away, with fines, points deductions and demotion on the table. The result may not be published until any appeal is completed. City say the "process remains ongoing".
