Venezuela Frees 39 Political Prisoners After Second Round of Talks

Venezuela released 39 political prisoners from jails across the country Friday to Saturday, the monitor Justicia, Encuentro y Perdón reported. The releases came after a second round of talks Friday between the opposition and interim leader Delcy Rodríguez. The U.S., which removed Nicolás Maduro in a military operation in January, had approved the negotiations.
