Venezuela Lets 39 Jailed Opponents Go After Leaders Meet

Venezuela freed 39 people jailed for opposing the government from jails around the country between Friday and Saturday, rights group Justicia, Encuentro y Perdón said. It happened after opposition leaders met Friday with temporary leader Delcy Rodríguez for a second time. The U.S., which used its army to remove Nicolás Maduro in January, had agreed to the meetings.
