Manchester City are likely to keep past titles despite being found guilty of the majority of 115 Premier League financial charges. BBC Sport reported on 26 September 2026 there is little appetite in the league for stripping championships. Punishment will be decided later by an independent panel. A points deduction, fine or expulsion is seen as more likely.
