Reaching High believed first Irish winner for sitting British monarch since Irish state founded

Reaching High, owned by The King and Queen, is believed to be the first winner in Ireland owned by a sitting British monarch since the founding of the Irish state. The Willie Mullins-trained four-year-old won the John J. Galvin Maiden Hurdle at Listowel in County Kerry by 10 lengths.
