14 Killed in Congolese Army Plane Crash in Kenge

Fourteen people died when a Congolese army plane flying from Kikwit to Kinshasa crashed into a home plot in Kenge, in Kwango province. Military spokesperson Maj.-Gen. Efomi Ekenge said everyone on board died, plus civilians on the ground. Provincial officials blame a technical fault — a mechanical failure. An investigation is now underway.
