Alberta's Oct. 19 referendum to ask about binding vote on separation

Albertans will vote Oct. 19 in a 10-question referendum. One question asks if Alberta should remain in Confederation — Canada's federal union — or hold a second, binding vote on separation that would legally decide the outcome. This October vote alone would not decide separation.
