Middlesex lead Northamptonshire by 152 after bowling them out for 103 at Lord's

Middlesex took control of the Division Two County Championship match at Lord's on 24 September. They bowled Northamptonshire out for 103 in the first innings — each side's first turn to bat — then made 255 in reply. That leaves Middlesex 152 ahead with three days left. Northamptonshire need a far stronger second innings.
