Netflix's 'In Waves' to open American French Film Festival's 30th edition

Variety reported Sept. 24 that Netflix's In Waves will open the American French Film Festival on Nov. 3, launching its 30th edition. The Phuong Mai Nguyen-directed feature screens at the DGA complex in West Hollywood, where the festival runs Nov. 3-8. Netflix, the film's U.S. distributor, presents the opening night.
