NYPD Adds Security Sweeps After Sewer Exit During UN Assembly

NYPD is running extra security sweeps with federal partners after three people exited a sewer manhole at East 61st Street and Park Avenue early Wednesday and fled in two vehicles. The added checks are precautionary during the UN General Assembly, given the sensitive location. Police say there is currently no indication of a connection.
