Kane rejects Cardellini's 1980 Voorhees haircut for Crystal Lake

Linda Cardellini told Deadline she pushed to wear Betsy Palmer's 1980 crop-style haircut as Pam Voorhees in Crystal Lake. Creator Brad Caleb Kane rejected it as straying into cosplay territory, she said. The team tried it briefly. Cardellini said they have 10 years in-story to reach that hairdo before the prequel is scheduled for Peacock on Oct. 15.
