Max Mara Looks to 1930s Adventurers for Spring 2027

Max Mara creative director Ian Griffiths built the Spring 2027 collection, shown at Milan Fashion Week, around bold women of the 1930s and 1940s. He called the theme "nonconformist glamour." Inspirations were pilots Amelia Earhart and Beryl Markham, traveler Freya Stark, wildlife photographer Osa Johnson and driver Eva Dickson.
