Max Mara Designs Inspired by Brave Women of the 1930s

Max Mara creative director Ian Griffiths showed the Spring 2027 clothing line at Milan Fashion Week, where top brands present new clothes. He based it on daring women of the 1930s and 1940s, calling it "nonconformist glamour." His inspirations were pilots Amelia Earhart and Beryl Markham, explorer Freya Stark, wildlife photographer Osa Johnson and driver Eva Dickson.
