$21.5m for Kaheru gas search off Taranaki

The Government will put $21.5 million into EnZed Energy's Kaheru search off Taranaki, Resources Minister Shane Jones said on 23 September. Jones said it targets 182 petajoules of usable gas, almost a quarter of New Zealand's proven and probable reserves — gas known to be there. The money comes from the $200 million gas exploration fund.
