Warner Bros. Discovery told 500 senior staff its Paramount takeover is anticipated to close in about 10 days, Deadline reported on 23 September 2026. The briefing followed Paramount's 21 September settlement with 12 states that sued to block the deal, Reuters reported. Paramount had agreed not to close while that case was live, Deadline reported.
