Three charged over assaults on emergency workers at Gosport protest

Three people were charged with assaulting emergency workers after the 22 September anti-migrant protest at Gosport marina. Shannon Dodds, 32, faces two counts; Sally Pearson, 31, faces one plus a racially aggravated offence, meaning with alleged racist element; Toby Matthews, 33, faces common assault. Dodds and Pearson were remanded, held in custody, for Portsmouth magistrates court on 24 September.
