Outkast company sues Ovrkast over alleged deal to drop name

Outkast’s trademark company claims rapper Silas Wilson broke a deal to drop the name Ovrkast. High Schoolers, LLC, controlled by André 3000 and Big Boi, says Wilson agreed to abandon Ovrkast by 15 July 2026 and rebrand as OVERKXST. It filed a 10-count lawsuit including breach of contract on 16 September in Georgia federal court.
