Parliament ends term with leaders' pre-election speeches

Parliament has finished sitting for the term after party leaders gave their final pre-election speeches on 23 September, RNZ reported. The last sitting was an adjournment debate — a final discussion with no vote — where leaders criticised opponents and set out their records.
