GRAI announces acquisition of social music platform Hangout

AI music company GRAI announced on 22 September a merger with Hangout, the social listening platform built by Turntable Labs. GRAI Inc. bought parent TTFM Labs, now a wholly owned subsidiary, according to Music Business Worldwide. GRAI said it will maintain Hangout's deals with labels, publishers and collecting societies, which collect royalties.
