Sri Lanka Convicts 15 in 2019 Easter Sunday Bombings Case

Sri Lanka's High Court found 15 men guilty of planning the 21 April 2019 Easter Sunday suicide bombings, which killed 270 people, including 45 foreigners, and wounded over 500 at three churches and three luxury hotels. Nine others were cleared — acquitted — of charges. Prosecutors said Naufer Moulavi, among the convicted, planned the attacks; all the bombers died.
