Human Rights Commission concerned about Treaty reference changes

The Human Rights Commission says it is deeply concerned about the Government’s plan to change how laws refer to Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Its July review found the plan did not meet New Zealand and international human rights standards. It said the changes could create legal confusion and increase division.
