Human Rights Commission deeply concerned over Treaty overhaul

The Human Rights Commission says it is deeply concerned with the Government's overhaul of references to Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Its July analysis found the proposals inconsistent with domestic and international human rights standards, the Commission said. It warned they risked increasing legal uncertainty and heightening division.
