Human Rights Commission worried about Treaty changes

The Human Rights Commission, the independent body for people's rights, says it is deeply worried about the Government's plan to change mentions of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, the founding agreement. Its July review found the plan breached New Zealand and world rights rules. Like unclear instructions, it said, the change could confuse the law and divide people.
