Investigator Says He Surveilled Ex-MP Elliott for Toplace

Former federal police officer Shane de Kauwe told NSW’s anti-corruption commission (ICAC) he followed former Liberal MP David Elliott for Toplace executive Sharangan Maheswaran, setting up a fixed camera in 2022 for $15,000. Elliott faces no accusation. The evidence came in Operation Rosny, probing alleged $2M illegal donations by developer Jean Nassif.
