Luxon says Modern Slavery Bill won't pass before election

Prime Minister Christopher Luxon says there will not be time to pass the Modern Slavery Bill before the election. He says National would put it back on Parliament's list of business — the order paper — if re-elected. RNZ reported the bill still needs its detailed committee debate and its second and third votes.
