Collingwood midfielder Nick Daicos won his first Brownlow Medal in 2026 with 47 votes, breaking Patrick Cripps's record in the 3-2-1 voting era, the AFL reported. It was fourth time lucky after three near misses. Three records fell on the night. Umpires award three, two and one votes per game to the best players.
