Russia removes sole anti-war party from Duma party list

Russia's Supreme Court removed Yabloko from the party-list ballot for the September 2026 Duma, Russia's parliament, election 12 days after registration. Yabloko, which calls for a ceasefire in Ukraine, was in July the only registered anti-war party. Some candidates can still run in local districts. Critics say the vote will be neither free nor fair.
