Russia removes only anti-war party from Duma party-list ballot

Russia's Supreme Court removed Yabloko, which calls for a ceasefire in Ukraine and was in July the only anti-war party registered for the September 2026 Duma election, from the party-list ballot 12 days after registration. Some candidates are still running in constituencies. Critics dismiss the vote as neither free nor fair.
