Manchester United lose 3-2 to Brighton after two-goal lead, first such home collapse since 1976
Manchester United went out of the EFL Cup, the knockout cup for English league clubs, with a 3-2 home loss to Brighton. They led by two goals. It is the first time United have led at home by two and lost since a 3-2 defeat to Tottenham in 1976. Carrick told BBC Sport he does not feel under pressure.
