Saber says no comms change after CEO's AI-wwriter remarks

Saber Interactive CCO Tim Willits told PC Gamer the studio will not change its communications strategy after CEO Matthew Karch insulted former writer Stella Sacco and said he would have been happy to replace a writer with AI. Asked whether backlash prompted reflection, Willits reportedly said "no." Karch privately apologised to Sacco, Eurogamer confirmed on 6 September 2026.
