Outgoing National MP wants super age rising sooner, reaching 68 by 2065
Departing National MP Andrew Bayly wants all parties to raise the NZ super eligibility age by one month per year from 2029, reaching 68 by 2065. His modelling shows super's share of tax revenue falling to about 25 percent by 2065. National's current policy starts in 2044 and reaches 67. A July RNZ-Reid Research poll found 58 percent want the age kept at 65.
