Doña Croll reprises Cleopatra 35 years on at Talawa's 40th anniversary showcase

Doña Croll will reprise Cleopatra at Talawa Iconic on 13 October 2026 at Hackney Empire, 35 years after Talawa's 1991 production made her the first Black actor to play the role professionally on the British stage. The one-night showcase marks Talawa's 40th anniversary with excerpts from ten plays spanning 1986–2026. Tickets: £40 (£20 concessions).
