Ursula Meier sets English-language debut 'Quiet Land' with Gillian Anderson attached

Swiss French director Ursula Meier, whose 'Home' premiered at Cannes' Critics' Week and 'Sister' won the Silver Bear at Berlin, is preparing her first English-language feature. 'Quiet Land,' a detective story set in Montana, has Gillian Anderson attached. Meier will pitch the project at the Venice Gap-Financing Market, September 4–6, to close remaining funding.
