Lisbon homes hide behind a retained warehouse facade

António Costa Lima Arquitectos has completed Praia do Bom Sucesso, three homes in Lisbon behind the preserved facade of an old warehouse near the Tagus river. The opaque north wall faces the street; living spaces turn away from it, opening south through courtyards wrapped in glazing and perforated brickwork. Two gabled volumes flank the three courtyards. Exposed brick and weathered steel run throughout.
