FBI Seizes Domains Behind China-Linked Botnet That Breached NASA, Federal Reserve, and Senate

The FBI seized domains powering a China-backed botnet run by Nanjing Xinjiuwei's QTFY group, which sold hacking services to Ministry of State Security operatives. Intrusions dating to 2018 hit NASA, the Federal Reserve, the Senate, and other federal agencies, with Senate compromise as recent as 2026. Seizing the botnet's hardcoded command-and-control domains rendered its servers inoperable.
