Over a third of music delivered to Apple Music is fully AI-generated — but under 0.5% gets streamed

Apple Music executive Oliver Schusser disclosed in April that "more than a third" of music the platform receives monthly is "100% AI," while AI music accounts for below 0.5% of actual streams. Apple built in-house tech to identify the AI model used. On August 20, Apple told partners that AI-flagged songs will carry visible listener labels later this year.
